The problem is if you wish to reposition the mount, you can't. You stick the magnet to the windscreen, then the camera sticks to the magnet. mounts to the windscreen using 3M sticky pad. It sits entirely behind my rear view mirror so it doesn't get in the way. Would like to see a 60fps option there too. There are only 4 buttons on the side and they are raised and nobbly, so easy to find without taking eyes off the road.
Hold down one button for a couple of seconds to save 3 minutes of video. I have it in a large 7 seater and it runs all the way from the cigarette lighter in the centre console, through the passenger footwell, up the A frame, across the roof and down to behind the rear view mirror. power cable to cigarette lighter is VERY long for lots of options with installation.
